Helpful Tips For Dealing With Kratom Side Effects

When taken properly with respect to dosage and interactions with other substances, most users will never experience negative side effects from kratom. That being said, some who are new to kratom or who use a strain they are not familiar may experience some decidedly unwanted side effects including:

  • Dry mouth
  • Light dizziness
  • Upset stomach
  • Headache
  • A “hungover” feeling
  • Sleeping difficulty
  • Trouble focusing on work
  • Blurry Vision
  • Difficulty staying alert

Most of the time, these side effects are mild and will only last for a short time, quickly disappearing on their own. Even so, there are some common tips that will minimize these effects even further while restoring the balance to your system:

  • Take a break: Stop using kratom for several days or even a week.
  • Avoid depressants or stimulants: Other substances with depressant or stimulant qualities can intensify the side effects from kratom. While abstaining from kratom, abstain from these substances, too.
  • Hydrate: Water and lemon is an old remedy for a good reason. Drink two or three liters to flush your system.
  • Rest: The unwanted side effects of kratom don’t last long and after a good night’s sleep, you should feel normal again.

As with any supplement, it’s necessary to know your dosage and when taken properly, kratom will present minimal side effects. But when these uncomfortable effects present themselves, the aforementioned tips will have you feeling normal in no time.
